SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION

TO AND FROM WEEKEND EVENTS

Transportation will be provided for all wedding guests to and from the hotels to the Welcome Party on Thursday, August 21st and for the wedding on Saturday, August 23rd. Should you choose to drive yourself to the Welcome Party, there is plenty of free parking at the venue (Martis Camp, Park Pavilion). Should you choose to drive yourself to the Wedding, there is complimentary valet service at the venue (Martis Camp Lodge). We will coordinate everyone’s travel from the hotels listed above (Springhill Suites, Gravity Haus, The Ritz-Carlton and Schaffer's Mill). We want everyone to enjoy themselves and be safe!

AIRPORT Recommendations

The Reno-Tahoe International airport is the airport that we recommend everyone fly into. Truckee, CA is about a 40 minute drive from the Reno-Tahoe International airport.

There is a very small airport located in Truckee (Truckee Tahoe Airport). It is the closest airport to all wedding events and hotels (~5 minute drive), but typically pretty pricey.

San Francisco International airport (SFO) is another option to fly into. Truckee, CA is about a 3hr 15min drive from SFO.

TRANSPORTATION

TO AND FROM RENO AIRPORT

Rental Cars: A rental car may be useful for transport to and from the airport, and for exploring the area in your free time, something we encourage and highly recommend. All major brands are available at the Reno Airport, the rental car facilities are on site, contract/key pick up desks in baggage claim, and the cars are a quick 2-minute walk from baggage claim. Returns are in the same place. Rental car rates for the wedding weekend start at about $70 per day (Alamo, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise, and Dollar).

Uber/Lyft: Both Uber and Lyft are available in Reno. Uber and Lyft will cost approximately $60-$100 one way depending on the level of car requested (Uber X $60/Comfort $70/XL $97). While Uber is available at Reno Airport, the ride-share options are much more scarce in Truckee.

Shuttle: North Lake Tahoe Express is a shared-ride large shuttle bus serving Truckee along the Green Route (NLTE service desk and waiting area are at the far end of baggage claim in the Reno Airport). Shuttles leave the Reno airport and drop off at the Truckee airport (~5 minutes from hotels). Shuttles leave daily at 10:30am, 3:15pm and 11:59pm. It is $99/person, one way.

Taxi: Taxis are available from the Reno Airport and will cost approximately $140-180 one-way to Truckee.

FROM RTO-INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO TRUCKEE

Head north on E Plumb Ln toward Terminal Way

• Turn back on Terminal Way

• Turn left onto Villanova Dr

• Take the ramp on the right for I-580 N / US-395 N and head toward Susanville

• At Exit 36B, head right on the ramp for I-80 West toward Reno / Sacramento

• At Exit 14, head on the ramp right and follow signs for Wells Ave

• Take the ramp on the left for I-80 W

• Merge onto I-80 W

• At Exit 188, head right on the ramp for CA-267 / CA-89 toward Lake Tahoe / Sierraville

• Turn right onto CA-89 / State Highway 89 toward Loyalton / Sierraville / Truckee / CA-89

• At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit for Donner Pass Rd

• Pass through 2 roundabouts, staying on Donner Pass Rd

• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit for Truckee Way

• Turn right onto Donner Pass Rd

• Arrive at Donner Pass Rd

FROM SAC-INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO TRUCKEE

Head south on Earhart Dr toward Airport Blvd

• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit

• Keep straight to get onto Airport Blvd

• Take the ramp on the right for I-5 South and head toward Sacramento

• At Exit 522, head right on the ramp for I-80 East toward Reno

• At Exit 186, head right on the ramp for Donner Pass Rd toward Central / Truckee

• Bear right onto Donner Pass Rd

• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit

• Arrive at Donner Pass Rd

FROM SFO-INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO TRUCKEE

Depart and head northwest on US-101 N

• At Exit 1, head right on the ramp for I-80 E toward Seventh St

• Take the ramp on the left for I-80 E / I-580 W

• Keep left to get onto I-80 E

• Keep left to stay on I-80 E

• At Exit 186, head right on the ramp for Donner Pass Rd toward Central / Truckee

• Bear right onto Donner Pass Rd

• At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit

• Arrive at Donner Pass Rd
